Since arriving on the scene a couple of weeks ago, GOP VP Nominee Sarah Palin has consistently denounced the "Bridge to Nowhere" and has claimed that she was against earmarks from the federal government. Yet fact checkers have repeatedly debunked those claims--citing her public support of the infamous bridge and her acceptance of hundreds of millions of dollars for the bridge and in earmarks. Yet she and the McCain campaign continue to make those claims, and the American people are buying it. And when people try to call the campaign on it--the McCain camp cries sexism.
It constantly astounds me how blind and uninformed we can be. And it's scary too. There is so much at stake in this election and the idea that the GOP may actually win this thing because people believe Republican propaganda is alarming. It happened in 2000 and it happened in 2004 (i.e. they magically turned John Kerry's Vietnam service into a negative when, G.W. never even served).
Thoughts on the election? Comments on Palin's avoidance of Sunday morning political shows and interviews? Nauseous over the claims of sexism?

We all know that she didn't speak against that bridge until she couldn't have it.
We all know that the Good Ol' Boys club is racist and sexist.
And well all know that her nomination was a ploy to play on those Americans who vote on the surface.
*Ah-choo!*
I know you all have seen the reports that surface where she called Sen. Obama "Sambo" and Sen. Clinton "bitch."
I want to know why everybody is so surprised by all this. This woman's claim to fame is was a beauty queen. Where on all of this Earth does that qualify her to be the vice president?
*Ah-choo!*
This is all very calculated to blind side Americans, especially Democrats and Independents. They keep pushing issues like this bridge and claims of sexism and ageism to distract the American people from the real issues of the War, the economy and education.
*Ah-choo!*
You know damn well she’s avoiding those shows because they are going to crucify her and they should. They didn’t vet her you know damn well they didn’t prepare her for “Meet the Press.”
*Ah-choo!!!*
You'll have to excuse me, I'm allergic to bullshit.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Girl you better take me to school and teach!
I hadn't heard about the sambo and b remarks, but I wouldn't be surprised...
