YOU MAKE THE CALL...

So, the ever vocal Tiffany "New York" Pollard added her two cents to the "engagement" of Punk and J-Hud. Here's what "Miss Ghetto Fab (well, not really "Fab") had to say:

"He’s really loving being Mr. Jennifer Hudson. I think he’s loving the lavish things she brings to his life, he’s seeing the world due to Jennifer’s success” “[But] can you love this person if they lose all of this tomorrow? She needs to find out. I just hope people are marrying each other for the right reasons.”

“It’s a mixed match, it won’t work,” she says. “He’ll be in her shadow like Al Reynolds was to Star Jones, like Stedman Graham is to Oprah.”

Is New York just hating or does she have a point?

Welcome back Grown Woman! WOOHOO!

Probably a bit of both. She's hating, but Punk is definitely falling in the Al Reynolds category. LOL.

I don't know. Coming from New York it will always sound like hating. Even if what she says is true.

My thing is, why can't a woman fall for a successful man that is not famous without him "following in her footsteps".

He's an attorny so he is successful in his own right, just not as "famous" as she is so I say more power to them and I wish them all the luck in the world.

Although Tiffany is the last one who should be dishing out relationship advice, the girl is making sense.

David & Jennifer just seem to come from out of nowhere & BAM they're getting married, just like Mariah & Nick. I hope everything works out for them, but I can't shake the Star & Al feeling.

She was going to marry taylor made... so fo real... she has no place to talk about reasoning for people getting married...

She is most definitely hating... but you do have to wonder if he is genuine or if he just wants to be famous... how could the same man that was interested in miss ny be interested in j-hud... they seem like totally different people...

so even though he makes good money as a lawyer, does he really strive to be in the limelight...

personally I always though ol' boy was gay... so I just hope she doesn't turn out like Terry McMillian 5 years from now

He did look a lot less gay on Oprah last week... he now has a brush cut instead of that greasy s-curl mess he had before...

but J-Hud definitely said she's not in a rush to get married so maybe she'll be like oprah and remain engaged forever

I love Jennifer Hudson, by the way, but...

Umm, I'm not sure if New York has a point in that regard, but the man's name is Punk and I think he is one... She needs to make sure he's not gay. Eww. :-/

I think it's a combination - she's hating, cause every relationship will have drawbacks. And she has a point because every relationship has its drawbacks.

That probably didn't make sense.

New York has a point. I think he'll end up feeling inadequate and pulling something like Halle Berry's stupid ex husband.

He looks like he should be on a poster advertising a concert tour for Al B. Sure, Kool and the Gang and, opening up, Rockwell!
