YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Barack Obama has done it! I screamed so loudly during his victory speech last night that you would have thought I was actually in the arena in Minnesota. Words cannot describe how proud I am of Barack Obama and his accomplishments. I have followed this race, donated money repeatedly, and most importantly I began to believe that he could win during this campaign. The road ahead of us will be difficult and the fight will be hard, but last night was a great victory, and I honestly believe that Obama can beat John McCain. I watched McCain's speech last night--I didn't see change--I saw the same old politics and the same legacy of elderly Anglo Saxon men leading this country. I want real change! I want a better foreign policy that is not driven by arrogant bully tactics. I want an educational system that actually doesn't leave a child behind. I want a leader who knows more about the economy than I do. I want a leader who understands the complexity of race relations in America and civil rights issues. And dammit I want somebody that looks like me in a leadership role!
It is my hope and it is my dream that this family will take their next family photo on the White House lawn. Obama for life!
P.S. Hillary is a hater and a sore loser.

If you were a bettin' woman, who do you think the running mate will be?
I am a bettin' woman, LOL. There was a time that I would have loved to see Hillary on the ticket--just seemed unstoppable. BUT she's been such a sore loser. Even today, she spoke and didn't acknowledge him or his victory. I just don't see her playing second fiddle and supporting Barack as the presidential candidate. She would be a good "attack dog" but I don't think she can acknowledge that he is the presidential candidate and not her. She hasn't even conceded yet. I think she's burned some bridges...
So if I had to guess---I would say that Hillary is probably at the top of the list because of the number of votes, but there is a good chance she won't get selected because of her conduct and baggage, and because she's not a change in washington.
I guess that didn't answer your question Nadja did it? LOL. What about you?
CONGRATS TO OBAMA!! I AM JUST SO THRILLED!
I think that Hillary will be VP just because it will be extremely hard for Obama to convince poor whites, old women and latinos to get over the Clinton entitlement to embrace him. I hate her though but would love for Obama to get her millions of followers.
OBAMA, OBAMA!!
STILL can't stand Hate-ary, I mean Hillary. Now she's trying to bully Obama into making her VP. She disgust me...
Yesss!!! I was more chipper that usual at work today because of Obama's win.
POP BOTTLES!!!! It's a celebration
Keep in mind that Obama is half way done. He's made it to the Super Bowl. You don't ever wanna be satisfied with just making it there. Now, you've gotta kick ass and win it all. And that's what he's poised to do!
Love the Obama family pics
LOL PH.
I hear you Kitty. I was too!
I really think it's going to be an Obama/Clinton ticket... unless Edwards decides to man up.
WHOOPEEEEEEEEEE! thats all...
Amen, sister! :*) Couldn't have said it better myself. ;*)
Michelle Obama reminds me of an older Kerry Washington...am I the only one that sees that?
Am right there with you on the screaming!!!! actually I had tears out of sheer emotion and happiness at seeing him win and at hearing his speech. THIS GUY is the real thing!!! I love him to death. Unlike hillary he barely spoke of himself that night - only of his mission to better this nation. Am so proud that he has East AFrican roots I could SCREAM lol... LOVE BARACK!!!!!!!!!! YES WE CAN!!!!
